We have never carved pumpkins. We have painted them and decorated them but this is our first year carving them. The kids were a little leery about sticking their hands into the gunk. Especially because Chad wouldn't do it! Mase didn't like it at all and I cleaned most of his pumpkin out for him but the big kids did pretty well. They got to draw their faces on with washable markers and then I carved them for them. Mason colored his face on the pumpkin and then he colored his own face! Daxten and Hadley both wanted scary pumpkins and Mason wanted a silly pumpkin. I think they turned out super cute and super scary! Great pumpkin carving kids!
