Trimmin' the tree!

It was so much fun to watch the kids decorate the tree, and undecorate the tree, and redecorate the tree, and yes they are still undecorating the tree! I think it changes on a daily basis. i love how the bottom of the tree was jam packed with ornaments all in the same spot, and all the same kind! We tried to migrate a few to the top but I swear they knew each ornament that we moved! They each have their favorite ornaments that they keep finding and moving to a new location. Hadley got to put the star on top of the tree (which might explain why it is no longer standing!). Our tree is prelit and all the lights were working when we put it together, however we have lost a few strands and can't seem to fix them! But it is beautiful and makes our home feel like Christmas. Great job decorating guys!

Our Family

We have a great family and a great life. Chad and I are High School sweethearts. We met when we were both just 16 and have been in love ever since. It is a blessing to wake up next to the man of my dreams every morning and to have three of the best children ever, our little boy Daxten (3), and our little princess Hadley (2) and our newest Mason (1 month).

We love spending time as a family, at the zoo, the library, the park or just hanging out at home. Chad's passion is waterfowl hunting. He spends his free time either hunting or training the other love of his life, his dog Sage. Me, I love to read and you can find me curled up with a good book any chance I get, which trust me, with 3 little ones is very rare! To me a family like ours is just a constant reminder that the best things in life really aren't things!

Daxten

Daxten is 4 going on 40. He is our little smarty pants. He can read!! With his love for learning and his huge heart this little guy is truly the light of our life. If there is one thing we got right about Dax it was his middle name. He is his Daddy's boy thru and thru. He will jump off of anything, tease anyone and steal everybody's hearts with his beautiful blue eyes and bubbly little personality! What a character.

Daxten loves transformers, hot wheels cars, his taggy (the name of his favorite blanket because he loves the silky tag on it!) reading books, watching cartoons, jumping on the trampoline, Lake Powell!! painting, swimming, rough housing with Dad, playing pretend, building forts, playing computer, and getting into mischief. If you ask him he will tell you his favorite color is orange or brown and his favorite food is chocolate milk. He has a big heart and he loves everyone.

Hadley

Hadley is almost three! She is the prettiest little thing ever! I still can't help but stare at her and think how beautiful she is. She has the cutest personaltiy and she keeps us laughing all day. Hadley is our little firecracker. She rarely holds still, has no quite voice and loves to go, go, go,!! However she is also in a really cuddly phase and, if she can ever sit still, she loves to curl up on my lap and be held! She also loves to learn and knows her letters and their sounds, is learing to write her name and can count to 30. She loves her brothers and is a great big and little sister!

Some of her favorite things are, puzzles, coloring and painting, books, watering the flowers, kitties and puppies and really any animal, orange juice, climbing on everything, jumping on everyone, singing songs, screaming!! (yes, I think she actually enjoys it!) having her nails painted, candy, and tormenting her big brother. We love Hadley and are so blessed to have her in our family.

Mason

Mason is our newest little addition. We love him so much. He is such a sweet little thing. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and was 21 inches long at birth an is now about 20 pounds! He is 10 months old and getting bigger everyday! He crawls, stands, squirms, babbles and loves to eat! He is so ticklish that he laughs every time I dress him! Mason has a smile for anyone who will talk to him and he has stolen my heart and we can't wait to see his little personality develop as he grows.

Some of Mason's favorite things are, balls, dogs, kitties, blankies and binkies, crayons, eating crayons, eating dirt, marshmallows, whatever your drinking!, unrolling the toilet paper, and playing with his big brother and sister!
